What Is the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Course?
The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course teaches you how to respond to illnesses and injuries in infants and children during the first critical minutes, until professional help arrives.
The course covers child and infant CPR, child and infant AED use, child and infant choking relief, and pediatric first aid. Adult CPR, AED, and choking modules are optional, so you can add them if you also care for adults.
The course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for childcare workers in all 50 states. Because requirements vary by employer and licensing agency, please confirm which class you need before registering.
Coaches and Youth Sports Volunteers

Prefer to learn everything in one day? We teach the full Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course in a classroom format for private groups such as daycares, preschools, schools, and youth sports teams. We can come to your location or host your group at our Lombard training center.
The classroom course takes about 6 hours and includes adult CPR and AED. Call or text 630-309-4009 to schedule a date for your group.
